FHH projects

OHPM is implementing the FHH project since 30th January 2020 in Paktika province and delivering the RMNCAH services in hard-to-reach areas for the people who live beyond the BPHS in Paktika province. The project aims to increase access to reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child health (RMNACH) services in un-served districts, to reduce maternal and child morbidity and mortality. The project is funded by the UNFPA. The project consists of 20 function FHHs and 5 MHNTs which were established to respond to the devastating earthquake in the Barmal, Gayan, Nika, Zirouk, and Urgoon districts of Paktika province, also there was a CME school that closed after completing the academic calendar graduating 23 midwives.

Totally 49,500 patients/ clients (18,067 female & 31433 male) were reached by FHHs /MHTs and received health care services, 222 skill birth attendance have been done by FHHs/MHTs midwives and 7431 RH clients took advantage of health services.
